Merchandise
We make every effort to supply the merchandise you order and we proudly offer a 99% fill rate one items shown as in stock. All products however are subject to availability. If there is any problem fulfilling your order, you will be notified immediately.
Currency
All prices are stated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.
Delivery and Charges
Shipping Charges are as shown when you proceed to a checkout page or are as quoted for your post code.
Shipping charges are for one delivery visit only. Second deliveries will incur the redelivery fee charged by the freight company. If our couriers cannot make delivery on their first attempt, you the receiver, will need to collect the consignment from the freight depot or alternatively when you place your order you can authorise the consignment to be left without signature at a safe location on your premises .
If the delivery is for a business, ensure the business name is listed on the order form.
If the delivery is to your residential address be aware that our couriers need a safe place for the goods to be left if no one is home, ( if authorisation to leave without a signature has been given).
Alternatively pick up is available and most welcome to all customers living in the Perth (WA) region.
Coffee Shrine will make every effort to process and dispatch your order within 24 hour (1 business day) from the time of receiving it. Once an order has been dispatched the courier company will deliver your order. Please allow 3-7 business days for delivery of your goods, country areas may take longer.
COFFEE SHRINE REPAIRS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

This policy sets out the circumstances in which goods supplied by Coffee Shrine to a customer (“you”) will be accepted for repair, return or refund. This policy is in addition to any rights you have at law including under the Competition and Consumer Act, 2010 (“Act”).
1. No change of mind returns
1.1. Please choose carefully as refunds are not provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.
2. Australian consumer law
2.1. Coffee Shrine’s goods come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded.
2.2. Under the Act you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2.3. There are nine consumer guarantees that apply to goods you purchase:
(a) Acceptable quality.
(b) Fit for a particular purpose
(c) Match description
(d) Match the sample or demonstration model
(e) Express warranties will be honoured
(f) Spare parts and repair facilities will be available for a reasonable time after purchase
(g) Title to the goods
(h) Undisturbed possession of the goods
(i) No undisclosed securities on the goods
2.4. There may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy.

3. Goods damaged in transit
3.1. If any goods arrive damaged, please contact Coffee Shrine as soon as possible. Coffee Shrine will arrange to have the damaged goods returned to Coffee Shrine and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or refund the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.
4. Delivery Charges
4.1. Where Coffee Shrine considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to Coffee Shrine will be at Coffee Shrines cost.
5. Manufacturer’s warranty
5.1. Some of Coffee Shrine’s products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. You should contact the manufacturer directly relating to the available manufacturer’s warranty (if any).
6. Coffee Shrine
6.1. Subject to paragraph 6.2, this Policy sets out the full extent of Coffee Shrine's liability in respect of the supply of goods and there is no warranty, condition, guarantee or other term binding on Coffee Shrine except as expressly stated in this policy. Any warranty, guarantee, condition or other term concerning the supply of goods implied by law or otherwise is expressly excluded to the extent permitted by law.
6.2. Despite paragraph 6.1, nothing in this policy will be construed to exclude, restrict or modify any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or liability applicable to the supply of the goods by law (including any warranty, condition, guarantee, right or liability imposed by the Act) where to do so would be illegal or render any provision of the contract for the sale of goods or this policy void or unenforceable.
6.3. Subject to paragraph 6.2, Coffee Shrine will not be liable to you for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contract, indirect, consequential, punitive or exemplary loss or damage in respect of the supply of the goods or otherwise.
6.4. Subject to paragraph 6.2 and 6.3, you and Coffee Shrine agree that Coffee Shrine’s maximum aggregate liability to the you will not exceed the amount paid by you to Coffee Shrine for the relevant goods.
7. Assessment of goods for return
7.1. Coffee Shrine reserves the right to assess the eligibility of goods for return (including the condition and age of the goods) BEFORE accepting them as returned. All goods submitted for assessment must be:
(a) accompanied by proof of purchase from Coffee Shrine either by providing a receipt or other proof of transaction; and
(b) unmarked and complete with instruction books and accessories such power cords, batteries, battery chargers, connectivity cables and any other out of box accessories supplied as part of the purchase.; and
(c) returned within a reasonable time. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.
7.2. Please note that it may be necessary for the manufacturer of the goods to inspect the goods in order to assess eligibility for return. Coffee Shrine will endeavour to procure such assessment within a reasonable time.
7.3. While goods are being assessed, Coffee Shrine will not be deemed to have accepted the goods for return.
7.4. You may be required to pay for parts, labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. Coffee Shrine may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond Coffee Shrine’s control.
8. When goods will be accepted for return
8.1. Coffee Shrine will accept goods for return only after assessment as set out above, where the goods:
(a) fail to meet a consumer guarantee under the Act; or
(b) are subject to any express warranty given by:
A. Coffee Shrine; or
B. the manufacturer of the goods;
and the goods are returned within the time nominated in that warranty.
9. What happens when goods are accepted for return
9.1. Subject to any obligation of Coffee Shrine at law to the contrary, when Coffee Shrine accepts goods for return:
(a) for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee which is not a "major failure", Coffee Shrine may either:
A. have the goods repaired or replaced within a reasonable time; or
B. provide a refund of the amount paid for the goods;
(b) for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee which cannot be remedied or a "major failure" (as defined in the Act), you may either:
A. reject the goods and choose a refund or identical replacement or one of similar value (if reasonably available);
B. keep the goods and get compensation for any drop in value of the goods caused by the failure; or
C. agree with Coffee Shrine to a repair of the goods; and
(c) under express warranty, Coffee Shrine may either repair or replace the goods or offer a refund in accordance with the express warranty. You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees where the manufacturer’s warranty is a “part’s only” warranty.
9.2. A "major failure" is defined in the Act and broadly is one where a reasonable consumer would not have acquired the goods had the consumer been fully aware of the failure, the goods are unsafe, substantially unfit for purpose or departed significantly from the demonstration model or sample. In this regard you should refer to the Act.
9.3. If you reject the goods purchased from Coffee Shrine for a major failure, you must return the goods to Coffee Shrine. If the goods cannot be returned without major cost to you as prescribed under the Act, you may ask Coffee Shrine to collect the goods. If any goods cannot be easily returned to Coffee Shrine, due to their size, the fault or because they have been affixed or installed in your premises, please contact Coffee Shrine and we will arrange an inspection to assess the goods.
9.4. If goods are accepted for repair, Coffee Shrine will undertake such repairs within a reasonable time. All repairs will be undertaken as prescribed under the Act. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond Coffee Shrine’s or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.
9.5. In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
10. Goods not accepted for return
10.1. Subject to any obligation at law to the contrary, including under the Act, goods will not be accepted for return or repair if in Coffee Shrine’s absolute opinion following an assessment of the good, any of the following applies:
(a) The product has been operated outside of the manufacturer’s instructions.
(b) The faults/ problems are due to the incorporation of additional equipment or connection of incompatible equipment.
(c) The faults/ problems are due to unauthorised tampering with the internal set up or workings or components of a product.
(d) The faults/ problems are due to inexpert installation and/or repairs of the product or the installation of incompatible spare parts to the product.
(e) The faults/ problems are due to expendable or consumable items or anything that requires regular replacement or maintenance in normal operation or that can be expected to wear out when in normal use. Examples include:
A. Seals
B. Filters
C. Complete Piston spray
D. Complete Piston plunger
E. Paint coatings
F. Grinding discs
G. Hoses for the peristaltic pump
(f) The faults/ problems are due to maintenance or a lack of maintenance, contamination as a result of improper cleaning (eg blocked valves or mixer), lime scale, mineral or other deposits from water supply, lubrication, alignment, adjustment, misuse, abuse, negligence, wilful act, malicious damage, theft / burglary or any attempt thereof, lightning damage, low voltage, excess electrical voltages e.g. burned computer boards, wind, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, aircraft impact, explosion, nuclear weapons or fuel, ionising radiation, war or civil commotion, terrorism, vermin, the ingress of any foreign material including sand or grit or dirt or water or liquid, insect infestation, corrosion, rust, acts of God.
(g) The faults/ problems are physical damage or cosmetic faults that have not caused the covered product to stop operating, mildew and or mould and related damage.
(h) Manufacturer / Importer or authorised authority recall or recall / modification due to legislative requirements.
10.2. If paragraph 10.1 applies Coffee Shrine will assist you in organising the repair to the product. Please note that you will be required to pay for parts, labour, assessment and/or freight fees. Coffee Shrine may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond Coffee Shrine’s control.
11. Statutory rights not affected
11.1. This Policy will not affect your statutory rights including those under the Act. To the extent of any inconsistency between this policy and your statutory rights, your statutory rights will take precedence.
